Just a fun topic. This one's a 64RD!

And this one's a 65RB...

Really, the reverse on the 20-d isn't quite there, but it looks redder in hand.

That's what I'm talkin' about. That 16 PR64 is just as red as my 16-s 64RD! And it's a Brown!

    ugh

Ive given up trying to figure out how PCGS makes the call on these Matties when it comes to RD RB and BN.

Certain lights, nice incandescant light from a diffuse source, and that RED can really pop out on a BN coin. Its a tough call and Ive done my share of contemplating how I would grade a certain coin...if I were assigning a color designation. Ive got one RB 1909 which is a brilliant Gold/Brass color.....much brighter than a RD.

    I dunno.

If we ever get the option of an edge view holder for the Mattes, Im sending in all mine for a regrade and a second chance for the Graders to think the color over again.

(BTW these are some stunning coins on this thread. Lincoln never looked better! Its actually painful to look at something like a 1966 with that tumorbeard)
