Wow. $18,778.00 for a 1911 Baltimore News "Hans" Wagner Newsboys Series PSA 3. That's a lot of coin. Even better was that it's only a PSA 3 with (IMHO) average eye-appeal (though good centering) and FIFTY (50)! bids. Amazing.

It's a phenomenally rare issue. Besides the find that is currently being vetted out on Ebay, there have likely been less than a dozen Baltimore Newsboy cards to be offered publicly over the last 5-10 years...and most of those were a one-time shot that Dave Levin brought to market. I am thankful that this is one type I was able to add to my Phillies collection....as I likely will not see many more in the near future.

No -- not for this card....sorry I wasn't clear. I was able to pick up a Baltimore Nesboys Series featuring one of the Phillies a while back...so not Wagner at all....just a lowly common.
