How to Add Photos to a Post????

I suppose this has been asked and answered a million times, but could someone please answer this question one more time? How do I add a photo to a post?

I played around with uploading and attaching, but couldn't get my photo to appear. Thanks in advance for any help!

    I think the best thing to do is go to the "Testing Forum". I believe they have a sticky post giving instructions on how to post a pic - and you can try it all you want (until you get it right image ).

    I would also recommend using photobucket for free hosting of you pics. It's free, and makes it a lot easier.

    edit to add: OK, there's no "sticky" on the testing forum - so just do a search. Another tip is to hit "quote" on a reply to a post with a pic. Then you will be able to see what was typed to have a pic appear.

    If you type [ img] then the URL of your picture and then follow the url with [ /img ] then your picture shows up. Delete the spaces I put in between the brackets.

    If you store the pic at photobucket then there's an exact link under each pic, copy the url and paste it in your response.

    1st load the picture you have on your computure to photobucket .com
    2nd click on the uploaded picture to generate the code you will need
    3rd highlight the code generated and right click - copy
    4th go to reply to message screen on the collectors universe thread
    5th go to the forth icon that looks like a picture frame and click on it
    6th right click paste the picture code that you have from photo bucket in the pop up screen
    7th click preview to make sure the picture came out before you post
