    I have always found that in high grade the 1807 is tougher than the 1806

    The 1807 is harder to come by in higher grades than the 1806. I think 1806 being the first year of issue, more were saved. A similar thing happens with US coins.

    looks to be a nice one.

    I find that when I put a darkish coin on a black surface the pictures come out better.

    (and white for bright silver...)
