Gee I'm never sure about that kind of stuff Justin.

My instinct always tells me to stay away unless I know the seller very well.

There was a thread somewhere about these packs not too long ago.
The vintage pack experts said no.

Run away as fast as you can. All this guy's packs are 100% FAKE!!

Edit: There is no way PSA or Steve Hart would holder ANY of these packs. Save your money and the headache involved with trying to get a refund in the first place. This guy and another one, rlmh something, have been unloading tons or resealed crap in recent months. Sad really, how many collectors they're ripping off. That's why he has that clause in there about how he has never personally opened the packs but he cannot attest to what happened in the past. Yeah, right, LOL!

Heck NO!!!!!!! I wouldn't touch ANYTHING that guy is selling.

His terms are a gross violation of EBAY's TOS. He is claiming
he "does NOT know" if the packs are good. EBAY and PayPal
don't play dat. If you cannot guarantee authenticity on EBAY,
you cannot hold out the possibility that an item is authentic.
It must be listed as "NOT authentic."

Sellers can sell opened packs; they simply say, "I am not sure
if these packs have been opened, so I am selling them as
    opened and resealed packs."

NO seller's TOS trumps PayPal's "the buyer is always the victim" policy.
It is just not worth the inevitable hassle that buying stuff from jerks brings.

Baseball Card Exchange has TONS of UNOPENED stuff that is
warranted to fly at PSA. Why would I buy from a risky source,
    when BBCE is in biz?

  • someone said there was an earlier thread on this guy. any won have a linky?

WOW i thought this thread was about 80's junk, but when i saw the 60's stuff selling for hundreds, this guy is committing a felony if in fact they are resealed....he has sold THOUSANDS of dollars worth of stuff....

can people be that dumb? people who buy unopened stuff are gamblers at heart and gamblers have clouded perceptions and usually make the wrong call --in many aspects of life unfortunatley...
  • Not one wrapper is centered on the pack, too many creases.

Stay far way from anybody selling packs out of Pennsylvania. There was a thread along time ago about a guy in this state. Outdoorsportsman or something like that. I bought some packs fom a seller in PA that had a no return policy. I opened some of the packs and several cards had rubber band marks.

Seems like every year or 2 there's a new seller in that area of PA selling resealed packs. Maybe somebody here knows more about that than me, I don't buy packs and can't remember the last couple ebay names.

I also would only trust Steve for the few packs I've opened in the last 10 years.

  • 1st of all the packs look shaky at best
Next he guarantees they are unopened but tells u no money back

RED Flag...... avoid at all costs

If these were legit he would have them authenticated
I sold many of the 54 1¢ packs for over $75 easily, all because they were graded
Look at what he received for his packs
Bargain hunters bid on these & ALL lost big time

Too many ebay bidders actually believe in Santa Claus, but in our hobby he don't exist

Remember Greed Kills or in this case cost someone lot's of $$$$

Look at the back of this one..

  • I suppose it requires someone to send in a complaint to EBAY but, if so, they wouldn't remove the auctios? Be a killer for the guy to see multiple auctions killed like that lol...

Check out this users feedback. No items sold. Only buys empty vintage boxes, wrappers and card lots. Has purchased a 1971 Topps baseball lot and a lot of 1971 wrappers. Why would you buy these if you were not planning on making fake packs? Makes you wonder if it is the same guy.

I actually feel bad for anyone that sells legitiamte packs from the PA area. Seeing that address is pretty much a signal to RUN!
PaOutdoorsman, nedsk, and even a few other sellers from PA have been posted about on these forums

Can't tell where people are from as easily anymore on ebay so it's hard to say if that's the same person buying the wrappers. Another raw material buyer is sellonesellall. I personally would not buy wax, racks, cellos trays or funbags from North Carolina as well due to some "unopened" sellers there.
