    it's a US/ philippine coin 1 piso

    Looks to be made from silver, looks cleaned also

    Philippine/American produced in the US at the San Fran mint while the PI was a Territory. In hand not cleaned at all. Pic is taken with a microscope so that may account for your assestment..................Rick

    Not a common coin and details look pretty good.

    It looks like a curved serif (more common than straight serif). It also looks like a lot of chatter or hairlines. Maybe it's just the picture as you say.
    Always interested in nice love tokens and engraved coins.

    Yeah it is definitely the photo.I took it with a Dinolite hand held microscope. It really brings out everything...........Rick

    Hi Tim, I have some other Pesos that are cleaned, this one is definitely not cleaned. Take a look at the one in the date, does it look like it was repunched?
