1972 OPC Hockey Worth grading ??

Just curious since there is a 5.00 dollar special on. Is the 1972 OPC hockey worth grading ?? I mean the cards that are not star cards that is.
Haven't followed the 1972 set so any input would be appreciated.
Cheers,

looks like 12 sets with over 30% completed. 2 100% complete sets. A couple almost finished. If you're looking to sell, I would say that commons are not to the way to make a fortune - as you could with pre-war commons or something - but if you like the set (and have a lot of 8's and 9's) I would go for it! Good luck

    Ditto.

  • I think i could pull out about 120-150 cards that are PSA 8 to PSA 10 worthy. Would probably hope for 30 percent PSA 9
Alot of my WHA cards from the set are mint.
    Thx guys,

I like the set more and more these days. I used to be kinda partial to the 71s but lately they seem tacky, IMO.

I would definitely send in the '72s if they are PSA 8-worthy or above. High grade early '70s OPC (well, let alone ANY pre-1980 OPC) is always tough.
