What's your opinion on my graded autographed 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration Mickey Mantle postcard?

Hi Guys, I just noticed that an autographed 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration Mickey Mantle postcard just sold on for $282.22 on Ebay tonight. It was slabbed and had the Mantle signature graded a PSA/DNA 9 MINT. I currently own a Mantle like this one in my set that has had the autograph graded a perfect PSA/DNA 10 GEM MINT. If a 9 is worth almost $300 on Ebay, what do you guys think a 10 might be worth? I'm not selling it at this time but I was curious what some of you guys thought. Neil

To be honest, I don't think you'd see much of a premium over the 9 auto grade. On the card itself sure, but I've noticed with auto grades, it doesn't seem to make much difference. Can you find any other star/Hof auto's in 9 vs 10 to see what sort of premium was realized?

I agree- the grade doesn't matter on autos.

Hi Guys, I have sold a few Ted Williams 9 and 10 postcards from this set in the past. The 9s averaged around $200 each and the 10s were just over $300 each. Most of the other players sold for about 1.5 times higher for a 10 over a 9. Besides mine, I have never seen another 10 Mantle in the 2 years that I have been working on this set. Perhaps with a few serious bidders, it could reach as much as $500. Perhaps someday I'll be lucky enough to nail another 10 and find out. Neil
