I would believe you if you told me the 2nd was willie stargell. The first letter is exactly how he signed his S, his signature was pretty weak in his last few months, and I have seen his autograph before as simply "stargell". I had a "stargell" signature about 9-10 years ago and got it in person.
I'm not saying it's him for sure, but it's a good place to start.
Often Willie Stargell, later in his career, would only sign his last name to team balls. The best short-cut I ever encountered was that i approached Cesar Geronimo outside the Vet in Philadelphia in the late 1970's and he just signed C.G. on my ball....
Successful dealings with Wcsportscards94558, EagleEyeKid, SamsGirl214, Volver, DwayneDrain, Oaksey25, Griffins, Cardfan07, Etc.
i though he only authenticates garbage pail kids now.... >>
Clearly, some are running a simple mistake into the ground pertaining to JSA and the Sal Bando saga. It was an obvious set up, due to how it was done. Yes, they clearly dropped the ball and was too trusting. I believe a big lesson was learned, when it comes to authenticating in person autos of guys signing at JSA show appearances.
With that said, and I admit JSA was in the wrong on trusting an individual, how can this PSA/DNA screw up be explained? A rubber stamped McGwire sig, none the less.
