PSA Registry Award Question......Carol????

I believe the threshold for being considered for a PSA Registry Award is 90% completion for a set unless the set has over 1000 items.

Question...If Collector "A" has 95% of a set with a Set Rating of 7.47 as an example, and Collector "B" has 85% of the set, but due to higher grades on the cards he has registered has a Set Rating of 8.56, what would be the outcome of the award?...Carol??....Anyone???

Doesn't set rating win every time? Completion doesn't mean anything except what your individual rating is.

If the threshold is 90%, then it's 90%. My guess is that if the "finest qualifying set" were not in the #1 spot, it wouldn't get recognition. BJ or Cosetta can answer better.
  • I'm not up to date on all things registry so I would suggest e-mailing SetRegistry@Collectors.com for the correct info.
