Auto 2...Maple Leafs...one at bottom is old-timer Sid Smith, I believe.

Looks like some Dean Prentice's to me...

Dean Sutherland Prentice (born October 5, 1932 in Schumacher, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey left wing who played in the National Hockey League for 22 seasons between 1952-53 and 1973-74. Over his NHL career, Dean played for the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Minnesota North Stars.

Prentice played 1378 career NHL games, scoring 391 goals and 469 assists for 860 points.

Dean and June have two daughters, Kelly and Kerry.

His brother, Eric, played 5 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 1943-44 NHL season. He is to this day the youngest player to have ever played for the Leafs.

Agree that the sig is Sid Smith...

Sidney James Smith (Jul 11, 1925 – April 29, 2004) was a National Hockey League left winger who played with the Toronto Maple Leafs for 12 seasons. He was the Leafs team captain from 1955 to 1956.

    Playing career
Born in Toronto, Ontario and attended De La Salle College (Toronto), Smith began his career in minor leagues in Toronto and later with the Oshawa Generals in the Ontario Hockey League.

Having played 45 games in two championship seasons for the Maple Leafs, he spent most of the 1948–49 season in the AHL with the Pittsburgh Hornets before he was called back to Toronto. After playing just one regular season game Smith scored an hat-trick in Game 2 on the Stanley Cup finals to help Toronto to a four-games sweep of the Detroit Red Wings.

Smith had six consecutive seasons with 20 or more goals, a distinction held by the great Gordie Howe.

Smith retired in the 1957–1958 season and later became a player-coach with the Whitby Dunlops, a senior team in the Ontario Hockey Association in 1957.[1]

Smith played 601 regular season games scoring 186 goals and 183 assists for 369 points. in 44 play-off games, he scored 17 goals and 10 assists for 27 points.

    Awards & Achievements
    Four Stanley Cup championships 1946–47, 1947–48, 1948–49, 1950–51
Two Lady Byng Trophies in 1951–52 and 1954–55.
Selected for the Second All-Star Team in 1950–51 and 1951–52, and for the First All-Star Team in 1954–55

These are somewhere in the late 1960s early 1970s so a little before my prime time when I got a lot of the NHL players in person. So if you search rosters before the expansion in the 1960s you can probably come up with the names.

Dean Prentice is correct. Have him and matches exactly. The top one on the blues is Jean-Guy Talbot but you knew that already. The one below him that is also on the Kings is most likely Bob Wall. He only played one year with the Blues but I couldn't find a match with the one below his.

Certainly no Hall of Famers among these, but interesting nonetheless.

Thanks for all the input. I bought this set about 1 year ago on Ebay. I was going to sell it so as I was going through the numbers I saw these were autographed. There was nothing in the description about these. Pretty cool I think!
