Need some help on these gold pieces

Hello,
My first post to your territory! A friend has asked me to see if I can find out what he has purchased in an auction. I have taken some quick pics in hopes that help can be found for identification. Or, perhaps a name who might be of help.

This piece is in a flip that says it is Byzantine Gold, Constantine IX, 1042-1055AD, Gold Nomisma

This piece is in a 2X2 with "Shah of Iran & Son" on it.

This piece is just in a 2X2 flip. It appears to be a KM-PNA23 with a mintage of 215 pieces. It is a 3 pence Pattern made for Sammie Marks???? I have no idea.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice forwarded.

As best as I can tell, the first coin is attributed correctly. Looks like a fairly nice example.

Coin # 2 is an Iranian medal likely struck to commemorate the 50th year of Pahlavi rule in 1976.

Coin # 3 looks like a modern restrike. As far as I know, the 1898 gold 3d is a business strike issue, not proof. The relief, style and finish on your piece do not appear to be period at all.
