Possible Fake 1965 mantle

Has anyone seen a fake 1965 Topps #350 Mickey Mantle card.
The card I have has a washed out look and there is a blackline on the left border.
Any info would be appreciated!

    To answer your question, yes, there are counterfeit 1965 Topps Mantles. One came across our "Road Show" type table at last year's SportsFest in Chicago. Not really very deceptive, flat looking color, typical rescreening of graphic elements, etc.

    Hard to tell given the scan. Examine the card using some magnification. The black "shadow" under the flag with the team name should be solid black, no pixels. If there are pixels, then it's fake.
