I was watching Sportscenter and they were showing today's highlights to the Braves - Padres game. Next thing I see is Padres player No. 21 and he running, or attempting to run. I think to myself, THAT GUY IS HUGE! I look him up on ESPN and it's pitcher Heath Bell who is listed at 6-3 and 240. 6-3 sounds about right, but 240? No way. Bell is a good 265 if not 275, 280. What a [insert derogatory noun describing an overweight person]!

P.S. But hey, ESPN has Bell making $420,000.00 in 2008, which is a hell of a lot more than I'm making.

I agree that he's a little big but he can throw.

i thought you lawyers all pulled in $500,000?

Sure there are attorneys who pull in $500,000.00 to $1 million annually. But those guys (and some gals) are few and far between. For every attorney raking in it, I'd estimate there are anywhere from 50 to 100 attorneys making $50,000.00 to $75,000.00. And the worst part is that those attorneys likely owe $100,000.00+ on their law school and (heaven forbid) undergraduate loans.
