with the Penguins vs. the Flyers in the semis, nobody in PA likely cares.

Philly fans are the crudest in sports. Maybe it's a good thing all their teams are perennial losers and they haven't won a sports championship in any major sport in like decades. They'd probably burn the town down to the ground, LOL!

Yea, Massachusetts and New York...one keeps electing a senator who in my opinion should have at the very least been convicted for involuntary manslaughter and perhaps manslaughter...and the other elects a governor who solicits high priced prostitutes. LOL

And check your history books about the intolerance perpetrated by Boston and New York towards its citizens - you may not like what you read. Philadelphia may have its faults - but I'll take Philly any day of the week over Boston or New York.

In the last 27 years the Mets have only one ring, so do the Phillies....what did you say about perennial losers??

Now, the Eagles, Sixers and Flyers..thats another story.

Are you proud of your 3 rings...brought to you by Kodak and the Tuck Rule?

    Sounds kinda flimsy to me.

    How does this sound?

Upcoming season, the Pats going 10 - 6 at best, and either missing the playoffs or losing in the first round.

All the police involved have issued a sworn statement that they did not learn this behavior at an Eagles game. image

Actually we teach this behavior in grade school before allowing our students to go to Eagles games, whereby then they can showoff their learned skills. We even have a grade school gym class requirement of throwing snowballs at Santa Claus. Unless you can hit Santa with a snowball at least two times out of ten throws from 20 yards, then you cannot graduate. Extra credit is given for those who can master a head hit.

I'm only trying to "help" so you won't be disappointed.

That Super Bowl losers jinx for the next season is too strong of a trend to ignore which isn't just a coincidence. The loser plays a 19 game season, plays hard, gets beatup, and then loses - it's tough if not impossible to overcome that, combined with their loss of the perfect season...they're mentally and physically beat from that and it takes time to recooperate.

Don't worry, the Pats will likely be good again for the 2009 season, but not this upcoming season, whereby they will definitely flounder.

Being 100% Honest here- my biggest fear is Tom Brady is quickly ( if not already ) turning into a "Hollywood QB" I fear that he wont be 100% focused this coming year- Giselle and the lifestyle might be on his mind more than the game.

You're right. And let's be candid...in the NFL, there's not a "whole lot" of difference between a 15-1 team and a 1-15 team...in reality. "On any given Sunday" right, and if/when that 15-1 team loses their focus just a little bit in the NFL, there's always another team, perhaps with less talent, but with more focus and motivation that steps up and beats them.

I think you're gonna see a lot of that this upcoming season against the Pats. and frankly, that running up the score crap that Belichick did, is going to come back to haunt the Patriots - BIG TIME. I remember Buddy Ryan used to do that in some games, and the following times these teams came in to play the Eagles with a big chip on their shoulder, and played much better and sometimes would beat a better Eagles team.

Are you talking about the cellar of arguably the toughest divsion in the NFL?

The cellar that equals a .500 record?

Maybe the cellar of having like 14 consecutive LOSING seasons?

Or perhaps the cellar team that owns the only record of a winless winning season?

What about this so-called cellar team that owns scoreboard on your sorry rear?
