Newp 1823 £2

I received this in the post today.

All 1823 £2 were stuck very well and display prooflike qualities, as does this one. You can see my hand and the camera in the reflection of the fields in this next shot:

    Very nice, I always liked this one year type, congrats!

    I believe that the colour in the second shot looks closer to the real thing.

    Yes the colour is more like the second picture. I'm not the best at taking pictures and my camera isn't great at picking up the colours.

    Here's another picture. It shows the details off nicely, but the small scratch on Geo IV's cheek stands out a lot more in this next picture which in hand it isn't as obvious.

    Thanks guys.

    He's took a couple of small knocks. One to the cheek and a small one to the neck, as well as some very minor edge bumps, but I don't think it detracts from the coin too much + I got it for less than EF book value so I'm happy with it. image
