Tiger is recovering from an injury. No doubt TV ratings are going to take a hit.

    Wonder if he is going to be at the Buick Open in Grand Blanc, MI?? I could walk there from my house. Have never been, but would like to go this year.

    He's scheduled to return at the Memorial - 2 weeks before the US Open at Torrey Pines. The PLAYERS Championship is always fun regardless of who is in contention. The Tour tricks up the course so we can see crazy swings on the weekend. I just hope someone who has won it before wins again so I don't have to send my flag out to anyone else!

    Some golf tournaments looking for corporate sponsers face this situation all the time:


    "No Tiger?" Sorry, no interest."

    For a sport to be so dependent on one individual to generate public interest is kind of scary.

    While Tiger is still a young man at some point he won't be around and then what?

    Its simple, the other golfers are just not that great.
