it is alright. i kept my 5 favorites. part of me knew that i could never
complete the series but it was fun dreaming.

i am contemplating a shorter sub set of these coins.
1859-1869!

at least that way the few stoppers are reachable for a common guy
who wishes to save a few years to get one. the civil war time frame,
leading up to and after has always interested me.

it would be great to own a 1862P for example let alone a 1861D.


edited to add: as of right now i simply do not know. i just want to
keep the ones i like the most, personally, while selling off the rest.
i wonder if i am going through the stages ryk did. he had quite a
collection of half eagles but simply kept the few he liked the most.
