    Mets fading fast. Wonder if they'll be 10 games out of first place by the All Star break?

    This just in:

    Mets are now handing out bottles of hard liquor at every game.

    With each paid admission, anyone over the age of 21 will receive a free bottle of cheap booze to drink during and after the game, to try and forget about how pathetic the Mets are, considering all their talent on paper.

    And huge congrats to the Mets today. Losing two baseball games in one day takes determination and effort, as well as a lack of will to win...Yes, the 2008 Mets have all of that and less.

    Hey Mets fans...don't worry too much about all this...it's not like 1962 when you finished in tenth place with the worst baseball team of all time. The worst you can do now is finish in fifth place, so I hope that brings you some comfort to your losing season.

    Not worried at all turkeys the Mets still have lost less games then the sillies.

    It took the Mets losing 2 games in a day to get you nit wits out from

    under your own beds.

    Geez do you guys understand baseball at all?

    1 game separates 3 teams in the standings and you 2 are making a big deal about it.

    Like I said you are a fairweather fan who only posts when

    something good happens to his team.

    Thank God for you they lost 2 games (like the sillies never have)

    That way the sillies moved up from 4th place.

    Perhaps the 2008 Mets could sign Roger Craig, Al Jackson, or Jay Hook and make their pitching staff better.
