Roger Clemens' Apology ... Is Being Late Truly Better Than Never?

JackWESQJackWESQ Posts: 2,133 ✭✭✭
So I guess Mr. Clemens has issued an [artfully crafted, lawyer written, ambiguously admitting making mistakes] apology as reported here by ESPN: ESPN Column Re Apology.

So we all know the old saying, better late than never. But I think Mr. Clemens might be the exception to this "rule." In any case, the chances of his defamation lawsuit succeeding against McNamee (however you define success) appear to be decreasing by the day.

Bullsh*t apology. Just more spin from a pathogical liar.

    No HOF for you Rocket!
  • At least a non apology apology is still one step ahead of Bonds.

Clemens just needs to shut up, drop his law suit and blend into the wood work for a while.

And by the way, the only reason he issued this non-apology, is to tell another lie about his relationship with the country singer, so that everyone drinking his koolaid will believe he did not diddle her until she was 18. Yeah, anything you say, Rocket. image

Clemens has too big an ego to keep his yapper shut for any length of time. He brought all of this on himself by not coming clean (pardon the pun) about taking steroids, he deserves everything he's getting right now.
  • I never liked his attitude. Reminds me of a spoiled brat. I think it's time to send a message that our "Superstars" are not bulletproof and can loose everything they worked for if they can't play by the rules.
