Best ebay buy in a while....

Link

I had my snipe set at a little over $1,000- Just barely got it. The auction is for two sheets, each with one Bird/Magic/Dr.J on it. I would've thought that the BGS sheet-trimmers would've been all over this, but I guess not. It's also cool to see that there are two different spots on the sheet where the Bird/Magic/Dr.J card is located: one in the middle of the bottom and one in the bottom corner. This explains why they all either have a lot of snow (bottom corner one) or a small black hyphen looking mark (the one in the middle). I might keep one and try and sell one to recoup the costs, but it's such a cool item I might just keep them both.

I'd also like to thank BobS for bringing this auction to my attention.

Most definitely. I assume I should get some type of UV blocking glass? never framed anything valuable before.

Be sure to tell them that you want glass that will protect it from UV light. I'm not sure what your plans are for the framing, but I have had some items framed with the item sandwiched between 2 sheets of glass. I've had some items where I'd like to be able to see both sides if I want so I pick the side for the front and can always see the other side if necessary. The person doing the framing should be able to do this without doing anything that will cause permanent damage to the sheet.

That is an awesome pickup !

I have always wanted full sheets , everything I see that I am interested in is either a million dollars or all banged up though .

Those look great , great price too !

Those are gonna need some pretty big frames .

I don't know how I would frame them, I guess Matted, open on both sides , that would be hot, but probably an expensive job , Good luck with it

    Congrats !
