Looks to be a Spanish Colonial 1 Real cob from early-mid 18th Century. Lima, Potosi, Mexico all used this design for 1 Real cobs from 1700's to inception of bust series in early 1770's.

Not exactly Roman, Mexico stopped producing cobs in 1731, Peru stopped in 1752. Only Potosi continued to issue the cob design until 1773. But starting 1767 Potosi also issued the Pillars and Waves design. They were the only mint to issue both designs simultaneously.
Ah, you're absolutely correct, Doug. While searching through Cayon this morning for the type, I've noticed it going up to 1773, which was for Potosi, but did not check the other mints. Thanks for catching it
