This play , is what sports shows, ever now and then.

I remember 33 years ago, I was helping out coaching a little league team. We had a a severly disabled ( possible autisum ) boy, named Jimmy , that had a great looking stance , and very nice swing , but had no idea what he was ever doing. I had spent hours a week with him and his mom , simply throwing batting practice and playing catch, as they lived close by.

We were playing the 1st place team (we were 2nd) , when late in the game Jimmy came to the plate(everyone had to play). He somehow made contact with the ball, and it dribbled out to the mound. No one moved on the other team. I remember looking over to the other coach, and he just winked. Jimmy ran around the bases in his own way , and we as a team , met him at the plate, as if he had just won the game.

It was the greatest play, I ever saw. I played ball for like 26 years, and this still, brings tears to my eyes.
