cut card series question

is there a checklist anywhere that shows what cards are included in specifics series for cut sheets?

for example, if i wanted to purchase a cut card case of 1984 topps baseball that included series A, is there a place i can go to tell me what cards are in that series?

Thanks,

David (LD_Ferg)

isnt sheet A cards 1 thru 132? and so on?

When you said series A you meant sheet A?

answers no, there random at least from my memory and just looked at sheet a of 85topps and starts out 113 next card 6 somethin.

to figure out a player look on the back of the card below the stats it'll give you the letter of the sheet.

if anyone has a list already done for 81 topps i have 20 dolla

    cheers, gator

I'm pretty sure either BBCE or D&A Cardworld had some cut card cases on their website , it won't give you a checklist but it does mention the key cards in each case.

David - this is right off the net from a card web:

most cut card cases have about 8650 cards - and if one sheet were represented, that would give that number divided by 132 of each card e.g.

They're packed without any kind of wrapping or boxes - so the condition can vary. These were wholesaled at the end of the season in this way - what people did with them back then? Varies I guess.

Now for the sheets - if ya look on the back of a card - the sheet designator is on the bottom - I think they did this in the 70s and the 80s.

Here's 2 83T Boggs cards and one can see that they came off the "E" sheet:

So - if ya got the entire set - just check the backs of the cards for those that are on the sheet you want?

thanks guys. ouch, i was hoping it was a little more straightforward....oh well, i may have to offer a $20 spot like gator for a list already prepared. looks like this may be a tedious task.

    Thanks,
