    It's funny. Ya got folks like "Odyssey Marine Exploration" (Linky) who apparently spend a fair bit of time and money looking for specific wrecks. They seem like they get very focused in their quary. But you still get "big finds" that seemingly turn up out of no where 'cus some guy was poking around the bottom of the ocean with sonar looking for rocks (diamond deposits). Funny old world. Still full of surprises.

    Another interesting wreck. As this ship went down around 1500 there is now a theory that it belonged to the discoverer Bartholomew Diaz who vanished in the area in that period. Perhaps some of the artifacts in the wreck can tell it that is true.
