I would like to know the book value for a VG and Fine...the one in the auction is only a good and it is not book value.

Ok, then. My Krause "Spain, Portugal and the New World" lists it at $25 in VF, $50 in XF

Maybe you should invest in a Krause catalog. It will give you general info on most coins. If it does not have what you are looking for, then I am sure that others on this forum will be more than willing to direct you in your searches.

For whatever it is worth, TwoKopeiki's estimate is reality. The books are wrong.
