what do you use for scanning and cropping pics? i have a dell all-in-one device and it came with some awesome software that allowed me to scan and it kept my cropping area for the next batch of scans. since rebuilding my computer, i've lost the software for the all-in-one and am looking for something simple to scan and crop while keeping my crop boundaries for future scans (software no longer available from dell). this was a major time saver in the past.
any good applications out there?

Did you go to the DELL site and see if there is downloadable software that is forward compatible?
Go to google and look for free software for the machine.
The beta version is now online.
Fast and easy sign-up.
It is compatible with photobucket, and includes PS editing suite.
2Gs FREE.
You upload the scans, edit them, and then download them back to your machine.
Some learning curve issues, if you don't already know PhotoShop, but worth the effort.
Thanks,
