Well bought this coin yesterday despite being over 60 yrs old and having crud attached to places on the coin, the coin still looks nice

The coin is in very good condition

The picture makes it look more like VF.

Is this a rare date?

Nope common date and notice that there are dark areas on the coin that is from the crud

I gather it would most likely grade very good due to the dings and the areas where the crud was, it still has lot of eye appeal and some luster
