This medal is a bit of a mystery to me. The artist is identified by the initials D C. However, its style is outstanding, in my opinion. It may not be apparent in the photos, but the right side appears to be in higher relief than normal. I find the tree stunning.
The not-so-blank reverse is may be significant, but I do not know. There is a slanted 4 in the center and going clockwise, 0 1 0 3.
Anyone know what that means?
