The BIG question - What's worth more... your set or your house?

Guys who ride high end bicycles often like to brag that their bike is worth more than their car. Photo guys often say that you're not really into it until your gear cose exceeds your car's value.
Coins, on the other hand, are a different story. I'd say that there are a lot of us here with a single coin that exceeds their car's value. We need something bigger to compare to... how about houses?
Right now, my set is not quite there, resting somewhere between my equity value and my home's total value. Shouldn't be long though.
And isn't it sooo irresponsible to avoid paying off your house just to complete a set, and compete amongst collectors far wealthier than yourself?
