Mark Goodman took the pics. He really captured the in-hand look of the coin.

    Thanks Mark.image >>

His pic is so good, that it looks like the slab shell has been removed and the we see only the coin and the insert.

Mornin' Lee, Nice '12-S. I found this in the bottom of an auction box lot many, many years ago.

    Awesome pics everyone.

It seems that we are all pretty damn good at taking a pic.

This is one of my personal best shots. Satin finish is easier to capture than a business strike.

I know, it's probably not Natural toning, still a nice colorful coin to look at ;)

Here’s a hotlink to my “Digital” album of my Lincoln Wheat DATE set, ranked #5 All-Time. Unlike the others ranked higher, my set is 100% CAC, 100% Red (other than the 1943), and of the 50 coins in the set, 30 have a “+” (60%):

These are all coin roll finds (they're still out there) , but the 1939 looks to have been buffed. Still nice condition! All were in the last month!

This might be my favorite resurrected thread so far. I'm pursuing a collection of raw proofs. Here's one to start.
