I know most don't pay close attention to college baseball due to the little coverage it gets up north. Down here in the south though, it's BIG TIME.
Last weekend #1 Miami defeated #2 Florida State in the series in Tallahasseee 2 games to 1 (I was at 2 of the games). Only a month until conference tournaments start and this is how the rankings stack up....
These rankings were just released yesterday (monday) and Florida State kept the #2 spot since they lost to the #1 team in very tough and close games.

<< <i>it would be nice to see some big time college baseball up here, inteh NE, but not in this weather!!! >>
I bet. I was talking with a guy this past weekend when I went to see UCF play #4 Rice and he was originally from Pittsburgh and said that Pitt's baseball stadium is similar to a little league field. He kept on raving about the crowd and facility even though the attendance was about 1,300 in a stadium that holds 2,000. He also said that it's supposed to be in the 50's or something this coming week in Pitt.
i played my first college baseball game in snow flurries so it comes with the territory

WOW, that's rough. If it makes you feel any better, spring football practice starts tomorrow and it's going to be 87 with that GREAT Florida humidity. I guess it goes both ways.
