sub-categories in ebay store?

Anyone had sucess with sub-categories? I was thinking about using them, but I can't even figure out how to make the function work.

Since they have no impact on search, they are not critical.
But, they help buyers find stuff they want once they are in
    your store.

    eg:

    PSA Graded Sports Cards
    .....Baseball
    .....Football
    .....Basketball
    .....Hockey

Go to the site map and use the A-Z index for instructions
on how to organize your store.

You can also get help on the EBAY stores board. Don't
forget: ALWAYS use a posting-ID on those boards.
