Anybody get any coins at Central States?

DIMEMANDIMEMAN Posts: 22,403 ✭✭✭✭✭
Thought I would start a thread on Central State Show purchases.

I bought 3 dimes in PCGS holders and 6 raw dimes that I submitted there at the show.

Anybody else?

Couldn't make it to Central States, but I do have a submission of coins going into NGC.

I should also be making a PO-01 coin that is 201 years old.

Central States was a very good show for me. Best in a couple of years.

I got the early bird badge on wednesday and picked up I nice 1807 dime in MS63 from HLRC.
my first MS dime of the type.

Thursday morning I saw a nice 1814 large date dime in MS64. I had to wait for the dealer to set up.
I came back at noon and the coin was nice for the grade, So I picked it up.

    On friday I got my last bust dime a 1830/29 in MS62. A simi-tough date/variety with a pop of 3/3.

    At the heritage sale I was high bidder on a 1878 MS65, 1880 MS63, 1897-o MS64, 1866 PR64DCAM, 1894 PR64CAM dimes.

I also picked up several mercury dime double dies and overmintmarks.

To top it all off I got my grades back on a variety submission and got MS64FB on a 1945-d over horizontal-d that I cherried at the last CSNS show.

    Larry,

WOW, nice coins! At least I don't have to worry about you getting to a table before I do. Our level of grades aren't in the same ballpark!image

That sure is going to be a knockout dime set when you are finished!image

    Dr Pete,

I saw a very beautiful 33-S at their table, but I think it was a 63.
