Graded Cards GONE WILD!!!!!!

In case any of you were wondering, which none of you were, but thats never stopped me before. Here is my two cents, which is now worth about 1.1189 cents since I knocked my girlfriend up. The 4K Mcgwire 1985 topps tiffany is really what brought me back to collecting. I was astonished when I heard how much it sold for and I thought 'I have that card'.But I didn't, i had the 85 topps and was sad when I realized that Tiffany's didn't come in packs. So I went to my parents and reclaimed my old collection from the attic. Two things 1, I really didn't store my cards well as a kid and 2, I knocked my girlfriend up ( I'm still coming to grips with that in case you haven't notice.

I personally think that on occasions some over pay for a graded card, but that could be a good thing. I think it motivates some. I happen to be a fan of graded cards but I temper my purchases with a little sanity. I have overbid for a card on Ebay and still lost, thank goodness. I also have overbid and won, my 1980 Topps D Murph is one of my favorite cards even though I believe that it cost me around 50 bucks. I could probably come close to buying an entire set of 1980 topps for that but I'm happy with that card.

I have read where some have question other's sanity and got rough up a little for. I can understand both sides of this. My suggestion is to treat it like it is, understand that some are opposed to it and some are not. That is what is really good about collecting, there is so many different things to collect that there is room for all. I try not to be bitter to anyone here and I hope that I stepped on no ones toes while telling my opinion.

Now that I said that allow me to vent, no one has yet sent me there D Murph cards. All I ask is that you send me all of his cards that happen to 50/50 centered and four sharp corners, crisp edges and flawless gloss, I mean where's the love.
