Pay-Pal question..

Hi guys, I have my pay-pal account set up with my debit card linked to my checking account, now if I decide to use my pay-pal account to pay for an auction can I switch from my debit card to credit card? And if I do use my credit card is it considered a cash advance?

Thank you.

Yes, I have my Paypal set up the same way and I use a credit card as a back up funding option too. My credit card treats it as a purchase and not a cash advance.

Can you switch? Yes, I have three cards linked I can switch between any of them to make a purchase.

Is it considered a cash advance? No. It shows as a purchase on all of my cards.

On the very last Paypal page before you confirm payment there is a section labeled Funding Source, and just below it will be a clickable "change" link. Click it, fill in the info and confirm.

    Same here.

I use the credit card on larger purchases and don't get popped with a cash advance fee.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
