question about packing/shipping

hey guys i noticed PSA says to pack cards with card saver 1 style holders and not the top loaders, is there a problem if i were to secure the cards with the top loaders instead?? and i say this beacuse i am in a small town and the only local card shop carrys NONE of the kind PSA says to ship with, now has anyone ever sent in and or does send in with top loaders?....thanks for your input!

PM me your address and I'll get some off to ya in the mail.

The toploader can be used but there's a greater chance of a card being damaged handling with a toploader vs. a cardsaver.

I assume ya need about 6 to 12?

You can send your cards in anything you want.
PSA's instructions are all advisory to insure that the card(s)
can be removed from the holder with ease and/or without damage.
Anything else used such as top loaders, card saver 2s, etc is to be
used at your own risk. If your card(s) get damaged while they're
trying to remove it, then it's not their fault.

Do a search on Ebay for Card Saver I, as there are a bunch for
sale if you don't have access to them in your area.

    I usually use a penny-saver and a toploader.

The CS-I is likely the safest, but I have not had any problems using my method.

The problem with using toploaders is that they allow too much "play," even with a penny sleeve. Any excessive movement during shipping can cause damage to the cards, damage for which PSA understandably doesn't want to be held responsible. In most cases the card will be safe, but it's an uncessary risk.
