Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

A true class act on and off the field. Never complained about the lack of recievers, a running game coach, and being unappreciated in the league.

The Titans treated him like crap and I was happy to see him do well in BALT.

    Wishing him the best.

Best of luck to him, definately a great QB-if he ever had a decent team around him he might have been more succesful. I will say he was involved in one of the greatest Super Bowl games against the Rams, too bad he didnt win that one.

Another thing though- I bet his coaches wont miss him being questionable every week though.

McNair is a perfect example of how you can't accurately judge a player only on his stats.

As I said, he never had quality recievers and played in a system that was based on the running game.

And his heart. You can't put a number on that.

  • Even though I had no connection to him or the Titans, I have always considered Mcnair to be one of my favorite football players other than Ronde Barber and Mike Alstott. There was just something about how he played the game that really appealed to me growing up and I'll surely miss seeing him around the league.
