eBay Checkout Error?

I've been attempting to check out on an order for the past 30 minutes and get the following message:

The service is currently unavailable.
Please try again in a few minutes. If this problem persists, report an issue to eBay support. >>



Anyone else having problems?
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    ebay is still a mess. i havent been able to send a second chance offer to the runner-up in an auction for some time now. but i can send it to the 3rd and 4th place finishers. yea, that makes sense. plus half of the time i try to give feedback, their system says that i already left feedback for that item, which in fact i haven't. regarding your issue, -- not yet.

    I believe that means that the runner up has his preferences set to not allow second chance offers.

    It's working for me now.

    Huh, that was really strange...

    For the past month, every transaction I've attempted to pay for has given me that error on first try. I have to sign out of eBay, re-enter, and it works, without fail, on my 2nd attempt.
