    Must be scarce.

I guess there is a faithful - tho probably small - following.

I've got none that are rare - that's fer sure.

    That's a ton of money!

  • Yeah I know, these bring in some bick bucks. I remember a common Basketball player sold for around 500 bucks or so, I think he was rare or something, not sure.

I have a Jordan, like the rest of the world. Not too many kids want O-Lineman.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I have a couple of Bagwells in the basement, one in a special holder that was made just for the Starting Lineups.

The only SLU I have is the 1992 USA basketball dream team still in the box.
Was'nt into SLU's back in the day but I thought that was cool.
Anyone know if it is worth anything?

I remember walking into a dollar store in 1990 and they had a huge bin full of 88' Football for $2 each. I picked up a Marino, Elway and Montana and passed on fiqures like this one,. If I had only know that the lesser known players where more valuable.

Some of those 89's can go crazy. I need the Steve Young but it usually is around $300. Hopefully I will be able to get an opened one sometime for around $20 as I have the card already....and I don't really want to pay $300 for a nice one.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
  • SLUs are my favorite non-card collectible. '88 Jordan is as common as they come, but the '88 Jazz are hard to find, and next to impossible to get in really top-notch condition. Here's an article I wrote last year about them:

  • I have one 98 Ripken that I've had since the release date. Other than that, I have a few bobbleheads and mcfarlane sports figures (andruw and Unitas).
