some cards for sale

I saved my cards from the late 60's early 70's. Mickey Mantlke and others of that era. Anyone interested in them? I will list them and send. I can take photos and email.

I want to sell stuff I have and buy a second place in the mountains.

I also have a telephone booth, ncr cash register and other collectibles.

Any interest or direction in where to post, which board to list on or any other idea to sell will be appreciated.

thank Youimageimageimageimage

We can look at your scans here.

When you decide on the values/prices, you can list cards on
    the BST-Sports board.

<< <i>I maybe interested in the telephone booth. >>

    Ha ha

EDIT TO ADD: Didn't mean to be rude, just thought it was funny that we want phone booths. I've been looking for one for a long time, but I don't really care.

1st, welcome to the boards, these guys are messing with you, but I have found they are an immense source of knowledge.
You have to have thick skin, sometimes it's hard to tell the fun from the digs, but it's all in good fun..I learned the hard way image
post up some really good scans of your cards, these guys are great at telling you grades and what to expect from them.

If they are really good, they will tell you to grade/authenticate them 1st, this will bring you a higher premium rather than selling them raw.

I will buy the phone booth, but only if it goes back in time and allows me to bring historical figures back to present day to help me with my book report. Also, George Carlin needs to be involved somehow.

I'd take a shot at the phone booth as well, my buddy can add it to his old gas station set up.

    Welcome.

And I don't think my wife would approve of the phone booth as I don't think it would fit in my collection room. image
  • does the phone booth have text messaging ?

    I might be interested ....

I guess I should state that I'm kidding ... BEFORE it gets delivered to my house.

    cheers

Jeff, we've seen your collection room. A paper clip wouldn't fit in there.

Since no one has even addressed this yet, let me say that I would be VERY interested in the phone booth.
  • Lets see how many of us can fit into the phone booth.

Wait, someone has a phone booth for sale? Are the yellow pages intact?

Also, I'm surprised that Jeff doesn't already have three phone booths in his collection room.

edited to add to the total number of phone booths in Jeff's collection room.

He described the phone booth in a thread last month:

"I have a free standing wood booth.
It has a single door with thick glass window and slides diagonally into the booth. The inside is pressed metal of some sort, could be tin, copper, etc,.
It would make a great piece in an eating establishment or bar.
I have never seen one like this.
It is in my garage and my wife is pressuring me for years to sell it.
A local well known place has made me an offer but I am looking for one better.
If you have any interest please contact me and I will take pictures and email them to you.
    Offers begin at $1,500."
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    Good for you.
  • Of all the times to list a phone booth, it only happens the week after I sell my payphone.image

I am shocked by the overwhelming response to the phone booth. I guess it would be nice to have one in your home. I know I am sick and tired of putting my cape on in the bathroom.

"Lets see how many of us can fit into the phone booth."

Umm, that's a little too close for comfort , I'll pass on that , but you guys have fun image
  • Hey guys ... can you keep all the chatter down ... I'm expecting a phone call.

It gets quite loud in these booths.

As far as putting on the cape in the bathroom goes ... I don't recommend the port-o-potty route ... went to save one person and I passed out before I could fly. I had to be rescued myself.

    cheers
