Reminder from PSA and PSA/DNA – New Holders Available

Over the past year or so, PSA has developed more and more trading card holders. These new holders provide a much better fit for several different issues, something we could not do in prior years. They include, but are not limited to, cards like Old Judges, E-cards, Exhibits, Play Balls, 1970s disks (various issuers), Colgan Chips, Kellogg’s, etc.
For a limited time, PSA will offer a $3 per card re-holder special. Any card submitted for re-holder by June 1, 2008 (postmarked) is eligible for this special.
In addition, we also have a custom 5x7 holder. This holder can be used for various oversized issues from the 1980s, for example, as well as signed photos where the customer would like the autograph authenticated and graded.
A more comprehensive list will be provided in the near future

Thanks,

I've asked your question about the back designations at the lower price and will let you know when I get the answer. I am sure this will come up for the 206's as well.

They are standard sized cards, yet for some reason a few were placed in the monster sized while the rest were returned in normal sized holders.
Thanks
It is a question that really can't be answered without them seeing the card.

Thanks for the information.
Why are some cards in the big holder while others are in the regular holder, the cards are from the same set.
Can we request or mark somewhere that they should put it in the regular holder, no matter what. If you can't tell I really hate the oversized holder being used for a stand sized card.
Thanks again.

No, if the sealer thinks the card may get damaged while putting it in the holder or while in the holder they won't do it even if you request it.
If you are talking about cards submitted on the same order with the above happening it is possible that it's just slightly larger from the factory. Sometimes and 16th or 32nd of an inch can be everything.
If you ever come to shows where we are grading onsite bring the card and we can check with the sealers and operations manager. It's the quickest way for an answer without going through the mail and paying postage.
If these are pieces you purchased it is possible that there were new inserts developed in-between submissions.
