I posted this to show it to people who haven't seen this story yet. I was chatting with a Sox fan and asked him if he had heard of this story and he told me no, so right then and there I knew I had to post this thread for people who didn't see it, so

Now i'm thinking that the reason that many probably haven't heard of it is because they don't live in New York, were they've shown it on tv a million times by now, after all Yankee stadium is in NY, so I can understand were people didn't hear about this story yet, becuase they probably wouldn't talk about it in the news nation wide, but I think its a pretty big story with the whole Yankees and Red Sox thing.

I think it's a great story and shows a passion that is sorely lacking here on the West Coast. I can't imagine somebody burying a hated Dodgers jersey when Pac Bell was being erected.

Now, if some semi-rare bird's sanctuary was being threatened during construction, oh the passion aroused!!!

With all respect, I did a search on "buried" on the search box and only 3 threads came up, only one for this story. What other 4 threads are you talking about?

People who are Yankees and Red Sox fans have a lot to say about this, its a big deal to them and me too, i'm a Yankees fan

Too bad they didnt find the Beckett Bobblehead and Manny toybat. The guy actually hid 3 items but clammed up once he knew he was in trouble. Now he denies there are other items. Good for him
