So Kobe Bryant may not win MVP....but he can still jump over a moving Aston Martin

This is either real or the worst idea Nike had for a commercial because I am sure some kids are going to be badly injured trying to do this. I know I will be trying it tomorrow.

I think you nailed it. Kids everywhere will be trying this. I still don't beleve it's real.
  • Looks real until you slow it way down and you can see he is jumping off center of the car.

Um, shouldn't the Lakers be pissed that their only chance at winning a title is jumping over moving vehicles? If he got injured, where would this fall in terms of the dumbest injuries in the history of sports? Surely it's gotta be close to Gus Frerotte banging his head into the wall for no reason at all and spraining his neck on national TV.

I set the odds of this being real at <.0001%

Yeah, I agree. He'd have to be opening himself to breech of contract with the Lakers as most pro sports contract have a clause in them prohibiting the player from doing idiotic things that will likely get themselves injured (looking in your direction Kellen Winslow Jr. and Ben Roethlesberger).
  • Got nothin on Joey Gathright, the former Ray and now Royals OF.

    Gathright, the real deal.

CD you are right on the money with Lakers management flipping over this video. Real or not you have the wonder the mind set of Kobe doing a video of his God given jumping ability which most of us were aware of before this stunt. but as Allen said half the kids in America will either think about or try it despite his "Dont try this" statements and unfortunatly someone will be seriously injured or killed. Why put yourself in this position Kobe? Not to bright.
