In football, as long as you hike the ball before the clock strikes 0:00, the play counts, e.g. a center hikes ball at 0:01 p.m., to QB, clock strikes 0:00, QB passes to WR who crosses goal line ... 6 points. In basketball, player shoots ball at 0:01, clock strikes 0:00, ball goes through net ... 2 (or 3) points. But in hockey, I'm pretty sure the puck HAS TO CROSS THE GOAL LINE before the clock strikes 0:00 for it to count. Why? (And if I am incorrect, then forget this question). So for example, player shoots puck at 0:01, clock strikes 0:00, puck crosses goal line into net ... shouldn't that count as one (1) goal? I don't think it does. But why not?
It's been years since I ate fast food. Still longer since I walked into a McDonalds. But today, I walked in as I was intrigued by McDonald's Ice Coffee. Got the caramel flavor. It truly sucked. Bummer. Was hoping I would have a reason to stop by in the future. Oh well. Anybody else try it?
