A friend found this coin, and we both are a bit puzzled by it. Any help would be appreciated

    Early Islamic. Probably pre-1000 AD. Hard to say more from that pic, in that condition.

    Yeah, the pictures on my computer were taken with a 12MP camera, and are actually quite good. Had to scale them down to upload them, sorry. Any way to narrow down maybe where it's from, or anything more? Or is there a way to post the higher res picture?
