Baseball Excuses

I hate when players/managers/fans use these excuses as reasons why the team is performing poorly.

1) Its still early in the season

2) Its tough playing in the cold - I'm a Cubs fan and Piniella uses this one

both teams are facing these same conditions, so why did they win and you lose?

They were BETTER!

Mets fans have more excuses for losing than there are grains of sand on this planet, and maybe even a few other planets as well.

The Phillies which have been losers for almost as long as they have been in the ML
have made more excuses then anyone.

Even when they win the have an excuse. last yr it was we backed in cuz the Mets flopped worse then we did in 64.
