Brasil collection

Hi everyone. I'm new here to the stamp forum being a veteran in the coin/currency forums. My father left me an old-time collection of stamps from brasil. the collection is in a blue album called "Sua Historia em Selos" with stamps going back to 1866. any idea how I could get this appraised? thanks in advance,

You might have a little luck finding a guesstimate as to value looking for yourself at your local library. Most libraries have a set of Scott volumes covering the world. I think to have a good appraisal it would have to be done by someone who was trustworthy and had some good knowledge of that country unless most are just common or faulty stamps. Youmight even find an expert or dealer by using Google.
