OT - eBay purchase

ajaanajaan Posts: 17,458 ✭✭✭✭✭
Recently my step-son asked me to buy a ukulele for him off eBay. It was a fixed price listing. I did so. On Thursday the UPS man comes with two packages. The guy shipped TWO ukes by mistake. I email him and tell him this and he asks me to find the cost for mailing one back to him. Well, he charged me $21.95 for shipping. Do you think it is reasonable for me to charge him the same amount to ship one back?

good question... I would say no mainly because the package is already packed... no cost for a box and packing materials

Well.... yeah... His mistake by sending two. If you had wanted to return the item chances are he would not refund your shipping cost.
