I'm not hyping the "estate" sale of some old friend or relative, but the fact is a friend of mine's golf buddy and lifelong friend passed away on 3/31 from cancer in Arizona (Bullhead City). He came back home yesterday with a box of coins, and they range from Lincolns to the halves- including a few old darkside coinage that I have to look up in a Krause book here later today. From what I'm told his friend collected since 47.
My friend is not a collector of coins- he's 77 and his hobby is retirement and golf. He still has a house full of items to go through. I'm trying to help him with the sale of this batch. They are housed in 2 old Whitman 'HALF DOLLARS MISCELLLANEOUS' blue folders. 3 of the coins 1 16-d, a 41 and 42 are in 2x2 flips. I redid the 41/42 flips due to a rip in the cello plastic- these 2 are solid AU55's, the 16-d sez G4- but i'm thinking closer to a vg-6 myself. The books are not in perfect shape, and I have scanned all the pages - send me your email addy and I will send them to you.

They all average out between a VG-6 to AU, I would price it out at $989.00 (that's $10.75 a coin) for the whole thing, and I'm willing to take a best offer on the lot and I will ship free, and I have a 7 day return if not happy, but you have to contact me before going gonzo.

I'll take a check- (7 days to clear), Cashiers Check/ M.O. gets it shipped same day, and if PayPal- then add 3.2% to final.

I also have a Meghrig PLAIN DIMES album that is loaded with Merc's and roosies- they are nicely toned and no the keys are not in the book, sorry- I have not listed them yet, nor taken scans of them- that will be later today and posted to this thread tomorrow- I won't abuse the policy of the B/S&T.

    Saturday morning push.

    I have 2 offers on the walkers and am waiting til 5 pm on the one- if no response from that person then it goes to the next person in line.

    Now the remainder is left to be sold - the 04 Barber, the Frankies and the 64's.

    I'll still take offers or I may buy them outright and stuff em with the other 900.00 in face silver I got (melt stuff).

    i'm gonna hoard a bit longer I think- I have a feeling Silver is about to take a climb back over the 20+ mark here in 5-7 weeks.

    This last bump is to thank those that made offers and to thank the buyers for their patience.

    There are a few other items left, but for the most part it is a mixture of AG- to mS lincolns(60D).

    i'll list later in the month when the owner returns from the desert.
